87/89 Per/Tow tune was written but not run on the dyno. I haven't run this tune yet.

Only mod was the cat back and resonator. Complete truck specs are in my signature.

I was told that an aftermarket CAI would produce ~ 10HP at the top end. That would have in theory put me over 400 rwhp. But I am happy with the stock intake and don't feel the need to add one.

quick question as It was not clear to me
you took your truck to MPT and they tuned it to build thier tunes for others
or you didnt like the stock tunes they had and wanted more?

also is there a rough estimate you could PM me as for the cost?

They used my truck to build / refine their tunes for the 2.7L. They will soon be releasing their 2.7L tunes.

Since I was being used as a testing platform they only charged me for the SCT X4 tuner.

Did you have to replace the thermostat?

We basically have the same truck. 2.7, 501A, and 3.31s so interested in what else was done to get those numbers.

How are your tires holding up ?

Stock thermostat. No mods other than cat back.
Haven't done any burnouts so their fine. This is my daily driver so don't want to burn up any tread.
Truck has 10K miles and is running great.

That is an impressive gain. I see it was nearly 80* ambient too - that truck on a sixty-degree day would be a puller.

Yep I'm sure... And yes it is ridiculous. That is with a skilled driver- but still

Found this on youtube last night..

The owner noted that he put down on 340HP/381TQ with the SCT canned tune and a muffler swap. Not bad out of the box for a canned tune.

I'm running a 93 octane from Unleashed and love it! Good pick up for normal driving and WOT is a beast I can chirp the tires shifting into 3rd... it's all stock no bolt ons. Torrie's customer service is beyond reputable!! You won't be disappointed
