Default Little rust spots in paint everywhere!!

I have a 2011 f150 lariat limited and just noticed little tiny rust spots (size of pinhead) all over my entire truck. I was thinking maybe the paint has metal flecks in it and those are rusting?! Any info or has anyone had the same problem .

Rail dust. Comes off your brakes. Some get it off with clay. Most have better luck with Iron-x. Google it

Mine had the same problem from the day it came off the lot. I just recently used a clay bar and cleaned it all up. some were harder to remove than others but the clay got it all.

I had a ton of specks all over my white truck so I washed the car next then hit it with iron x.. Wiped it down, hosed it off and no more rust spots, the. I flayed and waxed the truck after that. It's worth the time, but it stinks

while clay bar, or clay towels can remove most of iron particles…..that can come from lots of sources. IN many cases this process just shaves or breaks off the top of the particle and leaves behind the rest, only to show up again when that particles surfaces rusts again.

Ironx and some other processes use a fall out chemical process to remove more of the particles…..but you better know what you are doing so you don't create more issues with the paint.

Everyones cars/trucks has this happen but white color it shows up easier, and some light colors.

Cheers,
GREG
