Default Interior Paint

Hey, how's everyone doing? The dash is starting to peel, was curious if anyone has used interior paint, or other type remedies.

Yowsa!! It's been a while since I've molded interior trim. Those pieces were always "90% color matched" with the final color coming from paint, like the lower left panel. You can see it's a different color under the paint, but it's NOT black like the main bezel!

Sherwin Williams has a lot of interior paint that you'd likely have to get through a jobber. (And you'll also need a spray gun for application.) The jobber could give you a lot of tips for surface prep (very key step) as well as other things to look out for.

I know that dupli-color has some interior paint, but I don't know if they match specific OEM codes for interiors like they do for exteriors. Google it up or check a local autozone, etc.

Thanks for your help, sounds like a lengthy and a pain in the butt process...what do you mean by 'jobber'?

jobber = supplier to body shops. They will sell retail to the average Joe.

Or you can check out what dupli-color has to offer. You should be able to find instructions to pop that bezel off of your dash so you can prepare it and paint it.
