Aerosol of what? Adhesion promoter? Color?

Hard to say. On bumpers I usually go with 5oz per coat. That would be for adhesion promoter, and sealer, and probably clear too. Depending on what products you use. Color, it would depend on which color. Some colors are more transparent than others. Also, I'm not sure if they even make epoxy primer in an aerosol.

There is a place near me, finishmaster, that supplies paint to local pros, PPG and other legit brands. They will take your VIN, match the color, and out it in aerosol cans. I think I paid around $30 per can for my Harley 3 stage paint. I'm not a painter, but it seems like one of the many advantages that the pros have is that they can use additives, like flex additive. I'm wondering if the can add that stuff into the mix?

I don't see how flex additive will help on a completely rigid chrome bumper.. it's used more for painting flexible plastics. They might be able to put adhesion promoter in there for u, but u might as well just buy a can of it to make sure u get proper coverage and cure time

Flex aids with chip resistance. Most people that want chrome painted(in my experience so far) are terrified of chips. Even though regular ptm panels will chip, but they don't care about that, haha! "My painted Chrome must be impervious to chips." Haha!

I flex my sealer and clear on every job I do. I also use the Waterbase additive for Lamborghini's in the base coat. A little over kill... But I have good results

a front bumper impervious to chips, good one! I didn't think about it for chip resistance. I might have to add flex when I paint my new bumper to see if it helps.. I have a few chips on my front bumper, but no more than any OEM PTM bumper ive seen.. and believe me, I look
