Default How to get uncoating off lf stainless steel
My buddy's car has undercoating sprayed all over his stainless steel exhaust tips how do you remove it? ( the tips do not come off ) we've tried SOS pad's, car soap and water but it's taking forever. Any suggestions? And the undercoating is burnt on ( 17 years old )

okay thanks. My dad has said that but he tends to not know what he's doing... Not my property and I don't want to screw it up.

Laquer thinner won't hurt an exhaust. Just squirt it on and the undercoating should melt. May take longer being so old though

Cleaned it up, the rest won't come off it looks like it's burnt into it. Any idea on how to get the rest off?
