Default Cleaning up some rust

Just finished grinding out the rust from the running boards, coated with an inhibitor (researched and found the closest thing to Ospho I could), primed and hit them with Rubberized Undercoat. Looks pretty nice if I have to say so myself.

Now the wheel wells need to be done.

Did the first one, taped it off, cut the tape to follow the arch, but scratched the paint... Coating didn't cover it.

Thankfully I didn't go full height, so next I tried some weather-strip to make the arch, worked great to match the curve, but... that left adhesive behind.. What a pain in the butt to scrap off.

What the heck do you folks use to tape off a curve?
