I have a 2011 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4X4. I noticed that the paint on the rear bumper is blistering around the outside rear parking sensors. Has anyone had a similar issue? Debating if the dealership will do anything about it.

I'm having the same problem on a 2010 xlt, blistering on both sides and above fenders. Picture attached. I've seen other ford trucks around with the same problem. I went to the dealer before the 5 year point and they said they wouldn't do anything unless it was rusted through. Within a year I had to have the bonnet repainted on this truck too. I had a 1998 XLT which I drove until 2010 with 300K on it and the paint had no issues at all with the same driving conditions and care.

I'm not impressed by the response from the Ford dealer and I'm interested if folks have got this fixed through Ford ?

I'm looking to buy a new truck but I will not buy another Ford unless they do something with this problem.

Paint on my 10 is bubbled on driver door. It's probably been wet 5 times here in AZ and never seen salt or snow.

Ford paint sucks
