I have a 2009 5.4 4WD with 70k miles. today, without warning, the tranny refused to shift out of 1st gear. manual shifting the tranny also had no impact. Green wrench icon shows on the information cluster.

Anyone have similar experience?

internal seal failed above the mechatronix...(i think this is where the solendoids live). service guys said he had seen this happen before. anyway all fixed..
