Default what engine will fit?

i blow my engine on my 97 f-150 with the 4.6 in it what other engines will fit in the truck without to many changes?

A '01 4.6 would be the easy fit with more hp because of the performance improved heads. A 5.4 will drop in but does require a little more work and a custom tuner.

Well,you will need to find if your truck originally had a Romeo or a Windsor engine.It is some work to swap from Windsor to Romeo and vice/versa.Lots of work to perform swap.Time and money.Plenty of both.

other than a flexplate change and grinding the motor mount plates, what molre has to be done?

the blocks are more or less homogeneous. I have an explorer motor in my car.
