Default What about the turbo

I was looking at the supercharger install and I started thinking to myself.. why spend ridiculous amounts of money on supercharging when I could Probably run a decent turbo system for a little over a grand (with the tune).. has anyone on here done this? and what about the smog man, how hard is it to make it smog legal? or am I just going to have to fork out a couple hundred bucks everytime smog season comes around

From what I have heard, the smog man will be your big issue. You will need to install a CARB legal kit to get past the man. There are no turbo CARB kits to my knowledge (?), so an s/c kit will be the way to go.

You might inquire here:http://www.ststurbo.com/home

Default It Works in a Mustang:

Kits are available for Mustang modulars....seems to me that a kit for one of them would be easily adaptable to an F150...lots more room.

All it takes is cubic money and a helluva lot of determination.
BTW: I'm afraid a turbo setup for a grand is wishfull thinking.
