Default Vilently Shaking

Hi,
New member here. I need some help with my 1997 F150 4.2L truck. Truck showing 92k miles but truck shakes motor and truck really bad. Shakes from idle thru driving range. Replaced flywheel, tune up, plugs and wires, cleaned out egr. Talk to a mechanic who said it was internal and that the crank was out of balance. Do have some codes. P0401 and P0430. would this make the engine shake vilently? May need an engine, but i hope not.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? Would appreciate any input.

sounds like it could be EGR related, or bad 02 sensor, possibly clogged cat... those are all relatively simple, not terribly expensive fixes. Good possibility your 02 is shot, my bet is your cat is clogged, after 92,000 miles that would be a good possibility. If you haven't checked those things out I would start my search there. Hope that helps.

Here is a list of DTCs for future reference....

Thanks for the reply. One mechanic seems to think the crank is out of balance. What does anyone think of this?

make sure there is no vacuum leak. Make sure the harmonic balancer on the front of the motor is not coming apart or the outer ring on it has not spun.

Already checked all of that. No vacuum leaks and balancer is fine.

The shake is worse when the truck is in idle. It is not as bad when in drive until you let off the gas.

Could the camshaft position sensor make the truck and motor shake, because its making a squeaking noise? And it has a 02 bank2 code.
