Default tan color oil on oil cap

Bought a 06 truck used with around 108,000 miles. From records in the glove box looks to be well maintained. Just did an oil change and noticed around the cap was a tan like color oil. Last change was with Quaker State Defy and so was this one. Have about8000 on this change. Dipstick looks great along with the oil that came out. oil level was fine on the change. Any clue on the tan look oil on the cap?

Condensation usually caused by short trips that don't allow the engine to fully warm up.

Normal.

Most weeks are 30 miles each way to work 3 days a week. My temp gets up to normal temp with in a few miles from the house.

Could be a bad pcv valve as well, but from what I have been told it's just condensation. If it looked the same on the dipstick then you would have serious issues.

It's condensation. Many of us get that. Always good to be curious.
