4.9 I6 cylinder head rebuild question. . .
I am rebuilding my 1985 F150 with a 4.9 I6, and am having a hard time finding new replacement valve springs and cylinder head bolts. I do not want to reuse the originals. Any recomendations?

ARP should have head bolts... If not new studs and nuts.
You could always try ford for the head gasket. There was nothing wrong with the factory one if you haven't had the head milled down

Bennyv thank you i had to get all new seals and gaskets for the whole engine rebuild and yes the cylinder head did need to be milled down a bit.
Transmaster i looked at these headbolts on summit, i just figured they wouldnt work because nowhere in the discription did i see 4.9 I6. I see now where it says "289-302" so i guess i will have parts left over.
I am still looking for valve springs. There are places that say it matters what the factory spring compression values are and others that say it doesnt matter as long as you get them for the right engine. I guess what I am asking is where can I go to buy 12 4.9 I6 valve springs without knowing the factory spring compression values.
Thank you
