I'm no forced induction pro but... you're gonna need some extra parts. Also while reading a lot of other posts a turbo seems to be the more popular addition. Most importantly research, research, research.

if your going to go fi, go and do yourself a favor, get a intercooled system, hotter air, epically from a s/c, is going to lead to better chance of detonation...your better off that way for starters...i haven't seen the kit...but some on here will have better knowledge of it

i'm no pro with trucks, but i know on cars if you go from n/a to a turbo or a supercharge you need to get new piston rings and you should get new pistons to lower the compression ratio. you not need to but if you have a lot of boost and you don't change either you can blow your motor, at least on cars, i'm guessing trucks might be the same?

Depending on the amount of boost. You should be fine with bigger injectors, mass air upgrade, throttlebody, possible fuel pump, and a GOOD tune. If i were you i would deffinately look into an intercooler or aftercooler. If not you will probably be living on barrowed time with the motor and letting useable power go out your tail pipe.

I am curious about supercharging one of these modular engines with the sparkplug blowout issue, does forced induction increase the chances of a sparkplug blowing out?
