I called Ford and explained my situation and they agreed to pay $2000K towards my new engine. I got a 3yr 100,000 mile warranty. I don't really have time to shop around, so it sounded like a good deal to me. Still not happy about my engine going out at 75,000 miles, but thats life I guess.
Who did you call at Ford and what did you tell them, I was just told that my 05 needs a new engine.

There is another 2005 engine failure in the works, again can't help with the cryptic names every one uses, check my posts in the last few days. for details. I dumped on him at first, then learned new info. Hope this helps.
