Question Right Side Engine tick

I have a 1997 f150 with 5.4 and it always had a slight engine tick on the pass side of the engine, but didnt mind it to much but It seemed to have got louder and is holding not too noticeable at a idle but you can hear it when normal running and when i really hammer it. It really bugging the hell out of me anyone got some ideas?
