More Power for 5.4 L 2007 F-150 4x4
I am new to this arena and am really glad I decided to join. Some of the senior members have given me some great ideas for mods on my truck. I am still a little unsure of SPECIFIC mods my 2007 - I used to have a 1996 model - It ran really well (5.0 HO). This 5.4 L just doesn't seem to have the HELL YEAH! that I want - can someone please help me??? I am on a budget - but would save for these mods. I bleed FORD blue.

Start with the popular 3... Air intake system (i prefer dry flow filters), flowmaster or magnaflow exhaust, then custom tuned SCT Xcal tuner... This should get you moving faster!!

I get the CAI, and the exhaust. I don't know how to tune my truck though. Do I have to buy an SCT tuner, or does someone tune my truck for me? I wanted to thank you for your input on this matter. SCT advertises more horses with less fuel; is this true or will I sacrifice gas mileage?
