my 4.6L '04 has 65+ K on it, and runs like a dream

This is a good idea for Ford trucks, all this high mileage is gonna show people that Ford Trucks are fun to drive and last forever when you take care of them...

Yeah but we are having som issues with the diesel right now. First off it's not a Ford (don't tell my hubby I said that). She is missing but the dealer keeps saying nothing is wrong. She now has about 1000 miles to go till she hits 100K. I have a feeling that they are waiting for her to get out of warranty.

there might be some auto garages around where you live that they might look at her for a reduced fee or for free if you sweet talk them a bit .. id have those mechanics look and see whats wrong and then bring it to the dealer and tell them to fix whats wrong ...

I am good at sweet talking but there are really no grease mokeys around here anymore. I am too close to a big city and all the little guys are gone.

You can try taking it to another dealer and have them look at it. Make sure where ever you take it that they document the problem and that way after the warranty is up you can show that this is an ongoing problem and they should still cover it.
