So today we chaged the o rings on the injectors in it thinking that would help. ok i did help. but now it idles real hard and still stumbles when it is below 1800 rpms. but when you floor it it is fine. so we dont have a clue what it could be can anyone help please.

My standard suggestion is to always get the computer codes pulled first to see if that gives any direction. Chain parts stores like AutoZone reportedly do this for free.

My guesses otherwise would be weak or missing spark, or fouled injectors.

Until you get the codes read it's a toss up. But if I had to take a guess from what your describing it sounds if you have a problem with COPs or coil packs, that's generaly what happens. When they pull the codes you're probably gonna see cyclnder missfire.

make sure your intake is on right.. can affect the performance on it..

if not recheck your coil-on-plugs and the spark plugs.... the most common ones to give you bad contact are the #4 & #8 plugs which are the ones in the back..

also.. recheck the injector's.. if you smell gas.. you could have a problem..

if yo check engine light comes on.. check it at autozone.. post the codes here so we can give you a lil help on it.. its better than taking it to the ford dealer cause they would charge you and waste more time there..

Question

ok her is what autozone said.
Definition:
Fuel trim bank two condition.
Explanation:
The ECM has detected a rich or lean air/fuel ratio conditioin on engine bank two.
Probable causes:
1. if bank one and two are set together suspect a fuel condition or MAF sensor fault
2. Failed H02s21
3. Ignition misfire condition
4. Fuel injector problem
5. Engine mechanical condition

Ok this is what they said i dont have a clue what they are talking about can you help me please. witch one would it be. the guy at autozone said go with number one cause it is always right. but what do you all think.

When in doubt...go by order of what is cheaper to replace. I used to have a Chevy and that's something I learned from that experience!

When changing the plugs did someone bump the connector for the MAf or possible pull a wire loose from the connector? I would examine it real close since he only changed the plugs.

p0174 is bank 2... O2 sensor on the driver side.. that is going out..

what i would do so that I can be sure.. clear all the codes and start over.. sounds like you have many codes firing at the same time.. clear the codes by disconnecting the battery, it'll reset the computer.. then wait for the check engine light to come back on.. soon as it comes on.. take it again.. that way you get the code that is the worst..

if you can.. post all of your codes on here,,,
