Question Hesitation

what would cause my truck to hesitate slightly when i give it a bit of a rev. From a dead idle to a quick rev? acts like a old carb versions when the accelaerator pump wasnt working.
could this problem be a throtle positioning sensor?

My truck did this after a had cleaned and re-oiled the air cleaner. I put too much oil on the air filter. To fix it I had to clean the mass air flow sensor and throttel body.
