I got a 1986 fordXL f 150 4x4 with a 302EFI (first generation injection) and I was wondering if you could tell me why it is flooding really bad? the gas is comming out of the valve covers but the only place you realy notice it is in the tail pipes it curls smoke out of them. It seems like it is not getting enough air and way way to much gas. Can you help me out?? does the feul pump on these truck run continuasly do they shut off and start up when ever the engine needs gas or what??

Your problem, stuck injector? Fuel pump runs continous return style uses what it needs sends the rest back to tank continously
