Post for future problems

I was getting ready to put the motor together again on my truck today and I thought i should check one more thing so I did. I checked the fuel regulator on the fuel rail and i blew thru it and gas poured out of the return line so then i realized that the regulator was bad the diafram had a hole in it this was why my engine was flooding and filled the base with gas i guess you could say taht the engine was drowning in its own fluids. just thought i would post this find so taht any other ford fans can read back on it and check the little things first so you dont go ahead and buy parts, parts and more parts for a little problem such as this one.
