Default ford ABS

On my silverado that had ABS when you mashed the brake pedal down you could feel the vibration in the pedal, that ment the ABS was engaged. So on a Ford does ABS work in the same way? My window sticker says I have ABS but I have not ever noticed the vibrating feel in the pedal under very heavy braking, or I should say when I push brake pedal to the floor.
I have been on a deserted highway and hit the brakes pretty hard just to try it out and nothing.

Suggest finding some loose gravel on pavement. The wheel in the gravel will want to skid, the others won't, the ABS will try to prevent the wheel from locking up.

thanks for the comeback Bill. I am also wanting to find out is if Ford ABS is or isnt noticeable thru the brake pedal. If it isnt then that opens a few doors for me too look at, if it is supposed to be noticed thru brake pedal then mine dosnt work.

Yes, when ABS is functioning the pedal will pulse, much like you described on the GMC.
