Long story. The owner stop and got gas, was driving, stopped for a turn car, went to take off and had hesitation and then shut off. Said there was no noise, just died and wouldn't start back up, just clicked. Went to the shop, guy tried to turn the flywheel and said the engined locked up.

So once an engine locks up for whatever reason, it is done? Rebuild or swap?

Read the freeze frames and the I/M sensor tests. Loosen parts/starter and shake it.
