Default EcoBoost F150

I just bought a 2011 F150 4X4 with the EcoBoost engine. I love it so far (although the gas mileage isn't what I thought it would be). Does anybody know if there is a chip/ programmer out there for the EcoBoost yet?

Default Eboosa mileage

Same here..however, in the past, the longer I've had an engine..the better the mileage. I've played with my Eboosa and have had mileage up to 26 MPG (being REAL careful)..and I've only got 1300+ on the clock. If you DO find a chip please post... Thanks! and Travel Well....

The aftermarket companies are working hard to crack the Eco boost code. Ford made it very tightly encrypted so boost etc would be tough to alter, for good reason. There's a TSB about aftermarket programmers and warrant on the Eco, so that's something to consider before looking for a programmer.

Watch the instant meeter and drive accordingly, you can get very good mileage with it if you try, and when you want to have fun you can do that to. Foot restraint is the key, and that is difficult in these trucks once you feel the power!
