Here you go slick, it's not an F150 but it is an EcoBoost, a Ford Focus ST with 9k miles to be exact. I'm fine to get a discussion going, yes that is my goal but I don't care for your attitude is all. "Plating the victim" who do you think you're talking to? You do not know me from a whole in the wall. You need to come for a visit and have some beers with us here, we are no different than you or anyone else trying to make a living.

Oh and by the way, we believe in our products and so do our many many customers. I'm just saying, trying to knock fairly intelligent and extremely experienced vendors makes you look bad. The is no reason for it...

Watch this video SNOBDDS, feel free to make fun of Tracy all you want or my commentary. When you see the images on the borescope you should start writing your apology letter. I will also have some documentation showing the valves in a Camaro 3.6 over 68k miles with a catch can system installed. Clean all the way through. When I have it to put up I'll post it.

This is an issue with all DI engines. Funny how my truck with 34k miles on it is starting to idle rough during morning starts.

Good example of a smaller ecoboost with the issue.

I have owned several DI cars and all of them were known to have soot build up. Sort of like what a EGR does to a nice new Diesel engine. Catch cans won't help. Toyota's system called D4-S prevents this by using both direct and port fuel injection together. I think the new VW GTI has this and is making me want another one!

I had my GTI the longest, a 2010 and put 39k on it.

A tell tale sign is the soot build up on the exhaust tips.

If you are going to keep it for the long haul it's a good idea to get it cleaned up every 30k I would say.

When you said "catch cans won't help" what were you referring to exactly? Our oil separating catch can system if properly installed will evacuate 90+% of the harmful vapors that create the soot.

One reason I seldom use this forum and others like it is that businesses are allowed to shill their goods on them. I use many high fidelity forums and the best and most serious have severe restrictions on allowing business to hawk their goods.

A good forum exists for the exchange of information between enthusiasts, not for those with a financial interest to get access to enthusiasts. If a product has merit the enthusiasts themselves will get the word out. And discuss it freely without the maker of the product butting in.
