Default Check engine Light
Why does the check engine light come on and stay on when I turn the key off? Also, why is the fuel pump running with the key off?

Default short Answer:
Offhand I'd say that the ignition switch is screwed up.

The EEC was screwed up. Replaced it today and it is like a new truck!
