Default check engine code

well i got a p1451 code on my truck, just got the truck today. any ideas?

autozone said it is a dealer code. but reading through the paper they printed off, the troubleshooting says something about open or short circuit connection in a one of a few different spots could cause it. i was wondering if it could be the same reason my tach is screwy 0 rpms at idle and if i step on it and pass someone, the gauge gets stuck at over 6k until i shut off the truck

If he is too lazy to post the info on his truck I am too lazy too look back at his posts to figure out the year and trim level of his truck.

Bosaliniee, You should add your truck's info in your signature. It will help with other questions later
