Thumbs up Changed to Royal Purple

I recently changed my oil to Royal purple synthetic. Man this stuff is money. I definitely have increase in horsepower. I recommend it. it is $7.50 a quart but you don't have to change your oil for 12,000 miles.

I would never recommend 12K between oil changes, but I do go between 5000 and 7000 with it.

I'm using whatever oil Ford puts in when they change it. Can I just switch to Royal Purple or do I need to do something special?

I dont know what your dealer uses, but ours uses motorcraft oil. Which is a synthetic blend. Thats my understanding from when I worked at a dealership. Your might not use the same oil.
