hey guys new to the forum this is actually my first ever ford. and i do love it quite the bit but im having trouble fixing this. iv heard about the bad phasers and the vct solenoids. so i first got 2 new cam sensors and then 2 new vct's . still getting the code. so now im thinking phasers and im doing some googling and lurking other forums and i stumbled across this.

im going to try to give it a shot on tuesday and retard the cam one tooth. but what my big questions is which way do you turn the bank 2 (drivers side cam right?) to retard or advance the timing? can i just go by the timing marks or will they be off? im not to sure how timing works im just giving it a go. thanks again everyone and glad to be part of the community!

figured it out, had to retard bank 2 cam sensor not it runs like new again.
