Default 78 f-250 custom

I have a 1978 f250 custom with a 400 big block, and it will not crank it, is turning over and is getting gas to the carburetor, there is also a new distributer with less than 1,000 miles, has new spark plugs and wires. i can't think of anything else that it could be other that the starting coil, could this be my problem or does anyone think there is something different wrong?

Default Module Problems:

Check the system for a spark. If none, then very likely the ignition module is bad or the harness connecting it, the distributor and the electrical system has an open circuit somewhere. The coil could be bad, but that's unlikely....not much to go bad in there.
