I was looking at the AFE intake and the K&N. How bad is it to run just the intake for now without the tuner? Not a good idea? Also these tunes your talking about you are giving them all the info on what you have done and they tune to those specs? I would like the throttle to be more like the cable type setups, this drive by wire seems like it just dont get up and go like the older ones. Maybe I need to pull the cables off for a bit and then hook them back up and drive the tar out of it.
Truck does run good, just dont seem all that responsive.

im partial to the volant intake. so far, ive been running it without a tune and havent had any problems. As for tuning, yes, give whomever is tuning for truck your mod list and they can tweak. throttle response will be greatly improved and those input functions will be mod'd.

What is mpg everyone is getting with intake, tune, and exhaust?

Ya the response will be greatly improved after getting it tuned. I also thought what u did about the truck adjusting itself..but it turns out we have two very picky toys when it comes to modding them hahaha.

What tuner did you go with? Tell me about it if you would. I know you can give me the info I am looking for. 87 octane? more responsive? Feel it is worth the money? what mods have you done? What would you do different? Programer easy to work? Auto tranny feel more positive?
LOL Like i said still learning and want to have a good idea what I will do and in what order. Not wanting to waste a bunch of money on mods that are crap. Thanks!
