4x4sprcrw with 4.6L ?
wow ! cool place dudes. hope u guys can help me decide what to do. just bought an 04 supercrew 4x4 with a 4.6l engine, and it feels like a very heavy truck.
it seems like i can do some modifications (CAI,exhaust, chip, etc) but im not sure if finally the truck will get much hp like a 5.4 , or at least will not feel that heavy , even if i put a little larger tires (maybe a 285/70/17 with a 2.5 lev kit).
should i go for it ?
umm.. cool ! . thnks

the truck is perfect, it has 55k , its just that i have to spend too much money to make it run faster, but i thing it will be better idea to pay the diference to get a fx4 ( bigger motor, leather, sunroof, etc .. )

To get the 4.6L up to 5.4L performance, you'll need some upgrades as you stated.
Tuner, Gears, CAI, Exhaust, E-fans should give you some good power. Gears and E-fans won't provide power, just ease the stress on the motor and parts. Expect to spend some $$$.
Then again you can throw an S/C on it and then she'll run down msot 5.4L.
Watch out if you trade the truck in. You'll lose your ***** on trade in with the market the way it is now.
