Question 4.6L Engine Miss

My 4.6L 97 F150 has a miss after it warms up past the initial fast idle. It has no codes and passed the O2 sensor, Mas Air Sensor and missfire test on the Texas inspection. Starts great and runs just misses. Any ideas out there. I am thinking maybe a timing issue.

The engine is missing at idle, is that correct? Take a compression test and note how close the readings are to each other. If thats been done or is OK, check for a vaccuum leak.

Check the EGR Valve by pulling the vacuum line and plugging it with a pencil or something of the sort. Drive the truck, if the miss goes away, it's either a bad EGR valve or a bad DFPE sensor. Good luck.
