is there a difference between these 2 motors?

one is a Romeo the other is a Windsor. Slight difference in the heads is about all.

yeah that and from what I have heard the windsor is a easier engine to pick up replacement parts for too.

Romeo, Michigan and Windsor, Canada(Ontario). This is where the trucks engine was assembled, like the engine in my truck was assembled in Windsor, Canada, but the actual truck was made in North Carolina.

Correct. One ( Cant remember which) has 13 bolts on the head and the other has 12.
