4.6 belt tensioner pulley
the old one went bad and was squealing like crazy so i went and got a pulley and bearning set up and bolted it onto the stock pulley. when i started the motor it was ok for ~ 5 seconds then it made som different noise hard to explain. it got really hot and sprayed some wd40 on it and it smoked like crazy. any ideas?

I put mine on backwards once, and it did what describe. In the correct position, it looks backwards to me still. Check to see if it is grinding against the timing chain cover.
