I have a 4.6 F150 that is no longer stock and I was wanting to know what the 1999 4.6 originally made in 0-60, so I can figure out how much mine has improved.

It seems like mine took about 5 minutes, but it's better now.

Thats what I thought about mid 9's, Ha or 5 min.
I'm pretty happy though with the add ons I have, because now I'm getting about 7.5 and 7.6. I can't wait to get the Stage III Heads and see what that gets me, and in time if my engine holds up I'll supercharge it.

Default Chevy Smoky Joe:

...don't know about the 4.6L 0-60 times, but I do know of a twin-turbo Chevy 6.2L diesel in a 1987 K20 6700 pound Silverado that would take down 60 in 8.9 seconds. And another 6.2L diesel in a 1989 C10 4X2 Silverado that would run the quarter in 11 flat at 115mph.

I'd offer to make a timed 0-60 run in my '97 4.6L XLT 4X2, but I see no sense at all in rawhiding the ride for essentially nothing. I outgrew the need for speed about 20 years ago when I gave my turbo V6 Pinto wagon to my son and got a VW Rabbit diesel 4spd.

i had the 4.6 in my first car(98 expedition) loved that thing had a glass pack and man was i sweet sounding and i sure do miss it. but the 0-60 was about10-11. i would think f150 would be lighter so it should be a bit quicker
