I have a 2001 F150 Sport with a 4.2 V-6 motor that I want to swap an 8000 mile 2009 4.6 3-Valve motor with 6 speed auto into. I have the complete motor & trans assembly with wire harness, computer, and accessories. I know it will physically bolt in with the 2001 V-8 motor mounts, but will I be able to get the 2009 harness and computer to work with the 2001 dash, guages, and electrics? Any help would be appreciated.
