There is something to be said for 300 natually aspirated ponys out of a 4.6. But as far as bang for the buck it is WAY more efficient to supercharge it or fo with a turbo.

You should watch Horsepower TV they build 4.6's with more then 400HP.
turbo charging is a real efficient way of getting more power but Ford racing has
a real interesting supercharger that is built right into a modified intake manifold.
It has a low profile so it will fit under the stock hood of a Mustang.

how bout bore and stroke the motor. by doing that you can choose your compression ratio, which in turn will give you more power a lot more torque. it will be tearing into the motor and dont know if you want to but its a good option if you want to stay N/A. if qany one knows the answer to this question feel free to answer, but isnt the motor in the truck a destroked 5.4l?

and all i want is a gale banks twin turbo setup in mine.. make that 281 turn into 562 at around 30 lb of boost... yeah i know the whole bottom end and everything else would need toughened up though... sounds good though..

plz never swap a 4.6 for a 5.4. The 5.4l are terrible just stock they **** up the only reason a lightning and Harley doesn't is because it's forged steel internals. You can mod a 5.4 more like I couldn't find a supercharger only for the 3v they put in mustangs but they put a 2v in the 97 stepside bed xlt f150 I have but I have the turbo charger that's belt driven not a stupid over rated turbo.
IF you have a belt driven forced induction, you have a supercharger...NOT a turbocharger. Anyway...HOLY THREAD RESURRECTION! 13 years???
