2016 transmission problem
I have a new '16 XLT scab 5.0 with a problem. It is two weeks old and has 500 miles.
I first noticed the truck shuddering when decelerating and downshifting around 20 mph. It seems like it is most noticeable starting when it shifts from 4th to 3rd.
It continues to shudder down to where it's slightly vibrating to a stop. If I let off the brake it starts to roll and the sort of lunges and starts coasting faster.
Now I'm noticing that in 4th and 5th gears at very low rpms it starts shuddering with the foot just lightly on the gas, but in a lunging sort of manner.
Anyone had this? Sound like a torque converter problem?
