2008 4.6l backfiring
My truck backfires when engine is cold. Any ideas? I tried 87 octane and 93 octane. Makes no difference. MAF is clean. I don't want to take it in and get a line of b.s. from a mechanic. Help!

2019 F150 5.0 makes the noise as described but only on startup, sometimes almost shakes the truck with backfire. Not all the time does not seem to make a dfference hot or cold. about twice a week. Had it back three times and they act like they have never had such a complaint. It happens just as the engine fires, truck starts good and runs good, started doing it at about 1000 miles Help! About to go back to a GM
