Default 2007 5.4L FFI Throttle Lag

I own a 2007 F150 XLT with the 5.4L FFI engine and I've noticed that there seems to be throttle lag when the accelerator is depressed fully. When I fully depress the accelerator I expect to get a kick in the pants but it seems to just meander off the line. Although when I depress the accelerator about 3/4's of the way down I get a nice take off. Is this normal for this engine or is this an actual problem with on board computer? Has anyone else noticed this issue with their F150?

Get a tuner and that will get rid of the lag.

Default Problem Fixed

I just got back from the dealer and the problem was fixed by re-calibrating the PCM.

I was wondering I have a 07 f150 with the same problem and have had it back to the dealer 4 times and they say nothing is wrong with it My nephew brought his sister truck to mine over and wow was their a difference so I called the dealer today and they said to bring it back and see if it threw any codes It never threw codes before I was wondering if you could tell me if your threw any codes or what did they do Just to let you know I am a woman so that may be some of the problem usually if I Kinda know what I am talking about sometimes they listen thanks
