Not everyone wants to drive a tractor if they don't have too. Just all the young guys here that grew up in town.... I had my fill of diesel for a lifetime. I think you have said you drive truck... so you get it lol.
But i agree. .. not that most shops can ever work on anything newer than a 12 valve Cummins

I drive diesels every day at work and the endless problems with the emission systems on them. It's nice to jump in a quiet, reliable gasjob after a long hitch haha

I'm de debating on buying a 13 with the 6.2, I'm coming from a 2010 5.4. I already know it will be better, but what if anything should I be worried about with the newer motor mechanically ?

Nothing. Just drive it. I keep rolling the miles on my 2 F150's 6.2's and they run fine. The engine has been in the Super Duty since 2011 as well and there are literally thousands of them here as company trucks with very little in the way of failure.
Be wise to start a new thread. The OP had his truck for sale for a while by himself.... and I will bet money this is his:

I ended up going with an Ecoboost. The dealership had a 6.2 and an Ecoboost black FX4, I drove both. I really wanted the 6.2 but the Ecoboost really out performed it. I know people are die hard V8 fans(and so amI) but I really like the feel and potential from the 6 banger.

You drove a dud by the sounds of it... I did at one point too. Oddly the first 6.2 in an F150 I ever drove too. If i used it as my basis I wouldn't own a Ford at all. I had a friend who had never driven either but was completely pro Eco... he drove both back to back... now he doesn't want an Eco anymore, lol. The Ecoboost stock for stock wouldn't touch either of my 2 trucks.. I will put money against that lol.

For me the torque curve on the 6.2 was reached at too high an RPM. I just didn't see myself driving the truck that hard to get the 400+ foot pounds of torque, but the growl of the 6.2 will be something I'll regret not having. Maybe ford will rework a large displacement engine with low end torque in mind for a truck, not a 5.0 or 5.4.

No they won't. They will just keep bringing out more 6 cylinders with turbos on them. Pass. You drove an underpowered 6.2... it happens. Either of mine can rip off tires and pull trailer with the best of them. No I can't have 420 lb ft at 2500 but that's okay... if I wanted a diesel I would buy one. I love winding engines up and always have.... hell I like forced induction too... and number of cylinders doesn't me much. That said.. you can't give me an ecoboost...
