Default Thinking the K&N was over oiled..

Here's a shot of the throttle body on my 1999 F150 5.4. It had a K&N Air filter on it when I checked it. Or do I have it wrong and this is not from the K&N Filter? Will be using this body on the other motor.

Motors bad but for a 1999 model its clean wish the 2002 I have to go back in it was this clean.

the motor is bad? could be oil from the crankcase vent tube?? how did the intake pipe look right by the air filter but before the crankcase vent tube?

Did not look at that, but will look Monday and see. Motor dropped oil pressure and was shut off. Then restarted and oil pressure came back up for a few seconds then dropped again. Lots of Aluminum in the oil pan and stopped up the oil pickup tube.
Motor may have been good, but I did not want to take a chance on it. Plus the owner had let it sit 3 years with the oil pan off it. So bought a 2002 60,000 + motor to replace it. And have everything new for it but the main bearings, Rod bearings, and Rings. Figured replace all that stuff and the truck should get me by for 10 years or so.
