Planning on a engine build
I am working out the plans wants/needs for a 2v build.i want to try an use all ford parts been thinking about the forged internals out of a 4v, so that one day in the way distant future I can apply boost. now saying that I will be replacing all bearings rings doing this right and to hopefully make it last on a budget.
Now for the question I read somewhere on here the other day, that the 4.6 heads flow better than the 5.4 heads and that it was a direct swap. Is this true? If I decide to go that route do I still use the 5.4 cams? And the manifolds/headers would they be different to where I need to use the 4.6 manifolds or order headers for a 4/6? This is a project that will take a lot of time (a year or so at least) I would just like to have all my ducks in a row. And all my information in one place
