I bought an 01 F150 with 166000 miles, same night I bought it I lost first gear, slipping real bad and also making a lot of noise. Found a transmission from a 1997 with only 65000 miles on it. Both were 4r70 transmission. Changed the transmission and also swapped the vss sensor and the neutral safety switch from my old tranny. Started truck filled with fluid. When I went to go for first test drive it went into limp mode. I have checked the fuses everyone seems to say is the problem, but they are ok. Kind of at a loss, any help appreciated.
