Is this the dreaded intake coolant leak?
My 2001 F150 5.4L overheated due to the fuse for the aftermarket electric fans blowing. Lots of steam from under the hood. I filled up the overflow, and it looked like all the coolant I added dripped down over the front of the transmission bell-housing and on the ground. I took this photo of the right side of the intake, and it looks like coolant is dripping off of it. Note that this side has lots of grease on it, but the driver's side is dry.
Is this the dreaded intake coolant leak? If you replace it, is there anything else to replace while you have the intake manafold off the engine?
Thanks,
Todd
