Default Chain Tensioners, OEM or Cast Iron?

I have already changed the tensioners and other timing components once, about 35k miles ago. Now i have chain drag again at start up. I was trying to think of a way to make a better seal on the Plastic OEM Tensioner's, but i saw the Cast Iron style. Anyone know anything about these? Will they last? I really didn't like going into the front of the engine the first time, so if I have to do it again, I want to fix it right this time.

Thanks.
