Avg miles per gallon
I have a 2010 lariat 5.4ltr V8 screw 2WD 3:55 LSD rear end with 80K miles. My daily commute is 35 miles each way 98% interstate driving at an avg speed of 75mph. I'm getting 15.5 avg mpg tank After tank.
How does this compare to any of you with a similar set up and drive?

My last truck, a 2000 Super Cab, 4X4, 3;55 gears, 5.4L with 130,000 miles was averaging 16 MPG for similar driving conditions.
Slow it down to 65 for a tank and I expect you will improve by 2 MPG.
If you are running recommended air pressures in your tires - they are too low. Depending on the tire size and type, the best pressure will vary. Bump them up to at least 38 PSI or more.
Your truck should do a little better.

I've lurked here for a while, and for the life of me, I can't understand why so many owners only get around 10mpg out of these things. I'm not easy on mine by any means, but I still get around 15-16 in town on a 99% stock 4x4 truck. Well, that's before my bank 1/bank 2 lean codes started popping up.

Like guess I'll have to slow it down to get better mileage.
Just recently my fuel mileage dropped to 13.5 with no change to driving habits. The only change is the outside temperature. I thought the cold weather could be beneficial for my fuel mileage but I guess not.

I have a 2010 screw 4x4 3.55 with stock 20's. I get about 12 in town driving like a grandma, and about 15 on the highway doing 75. At first I was so pissed, but I realized where I live, the wind blows like a beast, and the city i live in is small but has a billion stop lights. Couple that with a short commute, it's not hard to see why I get such poor mileage, and I have no doubt that the 20's cost me a slight bit. If I lived in "normal" conditions, I'm positive i'd get at least 1-2 mpg better.
On tanks that are mixed of 70/30 highway to city, i get 13.7-13.9 every single time.
