Hi all. New to the F150 forum and hoping for some advice on a issue I'm running into with my 2001 F-150 4x4. When towing a utility trailer or camper with my F-150, the truck performs well. However, if I shut the truck down and then restart within a few minutes, the engine runs rough and acts like it is choking down. If I wait 30 minutes or so however and then restart, everything is fine and the truck performs great. This only happens when I am towing with the truck. The truck is not throwing any trouble codes. So far, I have replaced the fuel pump and filter, spark plugs, had the truck tuned up, coil packs checked, replaced the cam timing sensor, and cleaned/re-oiled the K&N air filter. Has anyone had this issue and have any thoughts on what else the problem might be? It is really more of a nuisance right now but I would like to fix the underlying problem. Thanks for your help!!!!
